Project Brief:  The project was the first wave of council built affordable homes for a generation. The scheme comprises 15 new build 2 bedroom apartments, designed to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and Building for Life Gold Standard. The corner site is located on the edge of a tight grid of Victorian terraced streets overlooking a public open space. The L-shaped form encloses a private car park at the rear and incorporates a 3 storey glazed atrium with bridge access to the apartments.
